Message from the President
Suratthani Rajabhat University
Assistant Professor Narong Buddhichiwin (Ph.D)

........It was a great honor when His Majesty the King bestowed both the name Rajabhat and his royal emblem on our university in 1992. Since that time, we have all worked with a renewed sense of dedication and exuberance so as to truly earn the status that his Majesty has conferred upon us.

........In order to earn the honor paid to us, and the trust this implies, we have accelerated our pursuit of academic excellence through a wide range of educational activities, ranging from the addition of new programs and courses, staff upgrading opportunities, linkages with other universities and institutions from around the world to cutting-edge research projects, all of which are designed and grounded on the drive to better meet the needs of the respective communities we serve.

..........Students should, therefore, bear in mind that we have well begun a new era at S.R.U., and that as envoys of the university they have a great responsibility both to themselves and their communities as to how they conduct their affairs on and off campus. Afterall, the royal title Rajabhat is not merely a name, but a system of beliefs and values based on the pursuit of excellence and equitable development.

..........
The emblem of Suratthani Rajabhat University is the Phraraja Lanjakorn, His Majesty King Bhumibol Aduladej's personal emblem. It consists of five colors represented as flowers. Blue refers to His Majesty the King, the institute's founder. Green refers to the location of the university, situated in a beautiful environment. Gold refers to intellectual prosperity and development, and orange refers to cultural prosperity and development.
